The chains would be a plead for my suffering. Was this all life was? Chained to a mad idea I should have laughed at?…
Now, unchained from that distortion, I am not being asked to suffer for my salvation by the Holy Spirit. I am being asked to be joyful, and happy.
This whole blog would have been inconceivable to the mind I had more than 10 years ago. I would never forgive, because the world in darkness was all I saw. I would never be happy, because happiness was for fools. I would never just be, because I was not worthy of love.
Now I’m thinking about what I am giving up and what I am remembering to see again. I will accept the Holy Spirit into my heart, because madness is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting better results.
Einstein said it years ago.
“Doing the same thing repeatedly, and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.”
In this case I’m using it to explain the madness of the ego’s thought system this time. If the shoe fits, it fits. Let’s be lighthearted today. We see through the madness, and into the true reality of love…
